"Canada Ltd." was the successful bidder on a $2 Million HVAC construction contract in Washington State. A disgruntled bidder files a bid protest in Superior Court and obtains a Show Cause Order requiring Canada Ltd. to appear and show cause why Canada Ltd.’s bid should not be rejected in favor of the number 2 bid given Canada Ltd.’s failure to register as a foreign corporation doing business in Washington and failure to secure a Washington Contractor’s License.

Canada Ltd. was registered as a foreign corporation. Bonding, insurance and a Contractor’s License were obtained prior to the Court hearing.
